The Canebrake offers a unique boutique lodging experience with accommodations ranging from hotel-style suites to private cottages and homes. To help ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay, please review the information below before making your reservation.
Monday–Thursday Stays
Monday–Thursday stays at The Canebrake are offered as a limited-service, self-check-in lodging experience.
Guests should be aware that regular front desk, spa, restaurant, and facility staff may not be available during these days. Access to amenities such as the spa, steam rooms, breakfast service, restaurant, and other shared facilities may be limited or unavailable.
Check-in is available between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Guests arriving after 6:00 PM must make arrangements with The Canebrake at least 48 hours prior to arrival. If late-arrival arrangements have not been made, on-site assistance may not be available.
Room access instructions and entry codes will be provided prior to arrival. Guests may be responsible for transporting their own luggage and belongings to their accommodations.
Friday–Sunday Stays
Weekend stays generally offer the fullest Canebrake experience. Depending on the weekend schedule, guests may have access to on-site staff assistance, dining services, spa appointments, special events, live music, and other resort amenities.
Availability of amenities, events, dining, and spa services may vary by weekend. Guests are encouraged to review current offerings or contact The Canebrake prior to booking if a specific amenity is important to their stay.
Accessibility Information
The Canebrake is situated on a scenic natural property. Some accommodations require travel along gravel pathways, natural walking surfaces, or uneven terrain.
Guests with mobility concerns, accessibility needs, or questions regarding room access should contact The Canebrake before booking so we can recommend the accommodations best suited to their needs.
Our hotel-style suites generally provide the easiest access and are located closest to parking and accessible entrances.

To help guests plan their arrival, parking areas are assigned based on accommodation location. Some accommodations require a short walk from designated parking areas and may include gravel pathways, natural terrain, or uneven surfaces.

Vehicle Access & Parking
For the safety of our guests and to protect the property, personal vehicles are not permitted on golf cart paths, walking trails, or interior resort pathways.
Please park only in designated parking areas shown on the map. The pathways connecting accommodations are designed for pedestrian and golf cart access only and are not suitable for cars, trucks, SUVs, trailers, or RVs.
Vehicles driven beyond designated parking areas may become stuck, cause property damage, or create unsafe conditions for guests.
Please do not drive on golf cart paths or attempt to drive directly to your accommodation unless specifically directed by Canebrake staff.
